Are you a people person and have the gift of hospitality? The Freestore Foodbank is looking for a volunteers to assist the front desk personnel during breaks. Tasks includes welcoming guests and answering phones at our Customer Connection Center. You will be the first contact our visitors and callers have with the Freestore Foodbank. Volunteers must have an outgoing personality, be polite and professional. Other duties would include light clerical duties for our social services staff.
Minimum Qualifications: Effective oral customer service skills; able to take instruction; minimal computer skills; ability to sit for long periods of time.
Requirements: Minimum 18 years old. Professional volunteer application, resume, background check (provided by FSFB), confidentiality agreement, drug free work place acknowledgement.
