Do you have a passion for adopted children? If you enjoy spending time with children, we could use your help during our Lincoln post-adoption support groups.
Volunteers are needed to supervise children while parents and guardianship parents of adopted children attend a support group at our facility in Lincoln. This position allows parents to attend support group and have the peace of mind their children are being well taken care of.
Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month from 6-7:30 PM Volunteers will provide child supervision and administer various activities. Children who attend vary greatly in age and level of need.
Responsibilities of Support Group Child Supervision Volunteers consists of entertaining children, changing diapers, feeding children snacks or dinner provided by LFS, and monitoring child safety.
Dinner is provided for volunteers.
