We want to stop the summer slide and make sure that youth do not fall further behind before the upcoming school year. We do this by sharing the joy of reading with them!
We will be looking for passionate volunteers like you to come one day a week for an hour from 3-4pm. You can choose between Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. All you have to do is commit to showing up each week. You will be assist 1-2 students with improving their reading and math skills. You will work with an elementary age student. Our goal is that by the end of the school year we will have boosted their reading level by one grade! We need YOU to help us do this.

Description
Since 2011, Mentor2Youth has provided educational intervention programs to youth throughout Washtenaw County and surrounding cities. More than 500 youth have participated in school or neighborhood-based programs.
