Purpose of
Assignment:
Assists Veterans and family member, and guest in the Critical Care Unit waiting room.
Using Service:
Voluntary Service
Department & Location:
Downtown Division Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center Downtown Division
Time Requirements:
8am-noon Tuesday-Friday ( We will take what you can give 4 hr shifts)
Specific Duties:
Receives calls, determines nature of business, directs visitor/caller to appropriate area
Provides verbal directions and/or medical center floor plan
Responds to phone calls from Ambulatory Surgery for family members
Assists visitors/patients by providing a Hospital Phone Directory
Keep CCU Waiting room free of clutter, trash, old magazines, and papers
Report any emergencies and/or concerns to the Voluntary Service Office
