Do you enjoy helping people tell their life story? Has hospice made a profound difference in the life of a loved one and you would like to give back?

Consider being a hospice volunteer.

Volunteering can be one of the most rewarding experiences you may ever have. Taking a few hours out of your week to spend time with a hospice resident can make a profound difference in their life and yours.

Brookdale Senior Living Solutions, located throughout Travis and Williamson counties, is looking for volunteers. Volunteers provide companionship to hospice residents and support to family caregivers by playing games with a resident, assisting with life review. reminiscing, or simply sitting with them and being a comforting presence. As a volunteer, you will receive specialized training in serving hospice residents and ongoing support. Volunteering with hospice does not have to be sad; it can be uplifting and life affirming.

Volunteers with previous military service are also encouoraged to apply.
