Do you enjoy helping people tell their life story? Has hospice made a profound difference in the life of a loved one and you would like to give back?

Consider being a hospice volunteer.

Volunteering can be one of the most rewarding experiences you may ever have. Taking an hour out of your week to spend time with a hospice resident can make a profound difference in their life and yours.

St David's Hospice, is looking for volunteers. Volunteers provide companionship to hospice residents and support to family caregivers by playing games with a resident, assisting with life review. reminiscing, or simply sitting with them and being a comforting presence. As a volunteer, you will receive specialized training in serving hospice residents and ongoing support. Volunteering with hospice does not have to be sad; it can be uplifting and life affirming.

Volunteers with previous military service are also encouraged to apply.

Contact Bunny Vaughter, Volunteer Coordinator to become part of the team. (512) 795-0204 or
