Volunteers are needed to provide interpretation during housing meetings, immigration cases, case management, counseling, and/or psychiatric appointments as needed for low-income families in crisis. Volunteer must be at least 18 years old, must maintain confidentiality, demonstrate fluency in one of the following languages, Amharic, Arabic, Farsi, French Somali and Turkish as well as English. This is an on-call position, but volunteer will be contacted ahead of time when assistance is needed. Appointments are held during business hours; length and frequency of appointments may vary.
