Passionate, Dedicated Adult Only Volunteer needed - Shelter Dog Networking emails (3 hrs/weekends)

We are seeking 2 ADULT volunteers (one for cats, one for dogs) who can dedicate 3 hours at a time, on Saturday or Sunday to construct a networking email to send to rescue groups to help animals in a Southern CA shelter find homes. We will show you how to construct the email as well as provide an email account to use.

We need responsbile and very dedicated, adult only volunteers to commit to our cause. Must be familiar with Outlook.com, and able to make the emails look uniform by copying and pasting info from our Facebook site (photos, video links, FB link, and pledge totals). Volunteers will update weekly email that is sent to rescue with photos, videos, Facebook link and current information per Facebook (you should feel comfortable on FB) on Saturday or Sunday

Time Commitment: Hours will vary depending on amount of animals to update however this volunteer is ideal for someone with hours of free time per day, as it take about 3 hours to construct an email. We are advising up front, as it does take time, but the animals are worth it and need us!

The person for this position should be passionate about helping shelter animals who face death row, whose only hope may be finding a rescue to save their lives.

Volunteers should be detailed, self motivated and independent, dedicated, a quick study, familiar and able to learn how to use Outlook webmail and have the necessary hours to dedicate each weekend. All of our volunteer work is done online, thus this volunteer should feel very comfortable navigating websites, and writing concise emails, following the format we provide. Copying, cutting and pasting photos and info is required. You may have to install a different web browser other than what you use, as Outlook works best in Google chrome browser.

Training is provided but must be very comfortable working in Outlook.com and Facebook, willing to provide neat, concise emails.

Please only respond if you are able to commit to the time required each weekend. The lives of thes animals we post for are at stake, as this shelter euthanizes. We are in need of dedicated and responsible adults for this volunteer position who understand the urgency of these animals and is willing to commit to helping us, so we can try to find rescue organizations to save them.
