We are looking volunteers to help on our donation pickup crew! We send a truck out from our store to pick up donations from people in the community each week, Tuesday - Saturday. We have truck assistant shifts available in the morning and afternoon. The shifts are about 3-4 hours long. The requirements for the volunteer position are as follows:
- Able to assist with moving large pieces of furniture and appliances
- Must have the ability to lift at least 40 lbs.

Description
Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity partners with local families to provide affordable homeownership opportunities. Families go through an application process to be selected and qualify by income, ability to pay a mortgage, residency, and willingness to partner. Once selected, families complete sweat equity by attending educational classes about homeownership and by building their home onsite alongside staff and volunteers.
The ReStore is another component of the organization. It serves as a fundraising enterprise to support Habitat' mission of providing affordable homeownership opportunities to local families. The ReStore operates as a thrift store that accepts donations from the community and sells them back at a lower cost.
