If you enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of helping others learn about the world around them, this is the volunteer opportunity for you! You will be able to share your enthusiasm for nature and science, meet new friends, become part of a team and gain new experiences. The North Museum has extensive natural history collections, new and exciting exhibits and the largest planetarium in central PA. No experience necessary, training will be provided and you can volunteer for as little or as much as your time permits. Volunteers must be willing to work with people of all ages.

The mission of the North Museum is to generate excitement, curiosity and life-long learning in the natural and physical sciences and technology by offering excellent programs, experiences, exhibits and a regional archive of well preserved and curated collections to interest both children and adults.
