Therapy Animal Visits
Bella comforts a child at our Camp Braveheart

Animals have wonderful healing abilities and spread cheer wherever they go! Volunteers with certified pets are needed to bring a special kind of love into a patient's life.

Volunteers provide visits with their pet to hospice patients in Lakeland who live at home, nursing homes, assisted living facilities or our beautiful hospice house.

Pet certification by a recognized therapy pet group is required as well as proof of vet check within one year. If you have a pet that loves people, is gentle and well-behaved, contact us! Volunteers receive complimentary, comprehensive training before being matched with patients. No previous experience in the medical field is necessary. Days and times are flexible and every role is valued.
