The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to help plan the 7th Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Chico walk. If you have the passion and want to make a difference, this would be the perfect event for you to be involved in. We need assistance with logistics, team recruitment, recruiting survivors, and more! This event is scheduled for Saturday. October 15, 2016. We are planning now. This is a FUN, Rewarding, Motivating and Inspiring Opportunity.

Description
For over 40 years, the American Cancer Society has owned and operated a chain of specialty resale stores, created to help support the fight against cancer. The American Cancer Society Discovery Shops accomplish this through the sale of high quality, gently used, donated merchandise. These special items which are displayed in beautiful, intimate settings, include clothing, collectibles, jewelry, artwork, furniture and other household finery. The shops are staffed primarily by dedicated volunteers, many of whom have been personally touched by cancer.
