Join the team of IRS-certified VITA volunteers and help give back to your community! Anyone can help. Training provided by United Way.

Ways to volunteer:
- Greeter: No training required. Greet clients as they arrive on-site to file their taxes. (Volunteer commitment: 2-3 hours per week)
- Tax preparation volunteer: Training required. Walk clients through tax return filing on a one-on-one basis. (Time commitment: 6-12 hours for certification; Volunteer Commitment: 5 hours or more per week during tax season. Volunteers can choose the site and hours they want to volunteer)
- Tax Site Assistant: Training required. Assists site coordinator in daily activities and acts as a quality reviewer of returns prepared at the tax sites. (Time commitment: 6-12 hours for certification; Volunteer Commitment: 3 hours or more per week)
