Best Friends Animal Society is looking for volunteers, like you, who are passionate about animals, fundraising and event planning to join the leadership planning committee in your community for the trademark Strut Your Mutt event series.

Time will fly during this four to five month experience. Volunteers will work on a committee with other passionate and talented individuals guided by Best Friends Animal Society event staff.

Marketing Coordinator: The primary role of the Booth Sales & Marketing Coordinator is to target local businesses (primarily, but not limited to pet-related businesses) to purchase booths for the Strut Your Mutt (SYM) event in your local market. Additionally, this is a support role for the local marketing efforts and this person will be a key liaison between the local marketing strategy team and the planning team volunteers to execute the marketing plans to increase event attendance, awareness and fundraising. This position works closely with the Best Friends staff representative and other local planning team event coordinators in each of the assigned cities. It will be the booth sales coordinator’s goal to sell 15 exhibitor booths per month in their assigned cities.

The Portland event is scheduled for Saturday, September 22nd.
