At Girl Scouts we build girls on courage, confidence and character who make their world a better place. We accomplish that bold goal by utilizing thousands of volunteers; volunteers whom we train using very special volunteers. We need trainers, facilitators, teachers who want to provide that face to face training for our volunteers. We will provide you with outlines and manuals for any course you wish to teach - New Member Orientation, Leadership Essentials, Outdoor 101, Backpacking, Camping, the list is long and varied. Does this sound like a challenge you’d like to try? Contact us. Our next Facilitator training will be in February. Once you go through our training, we will give you some in the class practice before setting you loose alone.

Description
Girl Scouts is the world’s preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls--all girls--where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, like leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.
Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, Girl Scouts' membership has grown from 18 members in Savannah, Georgia, to 3.2 million members throughout the United States, including U.S. territories, and in more than 92 countries through USA Girl Scouts Overseas
