MSAA STREET SQUAD
Members of the Street Squad will work to spread the word about the Swim for MS fundraiser and raise awareness about MSAA. They will be mailed flyers, brochures and other promotional Swim for MS materials and will be responsible for distributing these materials at targeted locations.
Street Squad Members will:
- Encourage friends, family and swimmers to participate in Swim for MS
- Hang flyers and hand out brochures at local pools, swim clubs and fitness centers
- Post about MSAA Swim for MS on Facebook, Twitter and other social media pages
- Reach out to local organizations to promote Swim for MS
- Track outreach efforts (date, business name, contact, etc.)
Street Squad is a part of our national fundraiser, Swim for MS! Swim for MS encourages volunteers to swim laps or distances over a set time period and collect pledges and donations toward their goals. These challenges can be done individually or through Group Swims by teams ranging from youth to college. Funds raised will be used to enrich the lives of everyone living with MS - including individuals with MS, family members, and care partners.
