Famous Fido Rescue and Adoption Alliance is looking for a volunteer EXPERIENCED kennel help person. We are non-profit animal rescue looking for an experienced kennel person who has a heart for animal rescue, isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, and is interested in gaining valuable experience from working in a no-kill shelter environment. We work with discarded animals from euthanasia shelters. Some of them have been abandoned and abused. The position requires experience empathy and patience working with these animals and gaining their trust, as well as SELF AWARENESS!
We are a small, grass-roots no-kill shelter with no government funding, but an appetite to grow.
Must have experience and love animals to be considered!
Duties:
Cleaning kennels
Feeding/watering animals and distributing treats and toys
Dog Walking
Cleaning the yard and play area
Lifting heavy items (50 lbs)
Assisting with bathing and blow drying animals
Assisting with showing animals during adoption meetings
Misc. tasks
***Must be over 18 and sign liability waiver.***

Description
If you love dogs and /or cats and are interested in helping in any way, we are constantly looking for volunteers to help us here at the rescue. Dog Walkers, Cuddlers, Bookkeeping, Social Media, Administrative, Kennel Help, and Animal Advocates to help Network/Sponsor Animals.
Must be 17 years or older.
