In order to keep our dogs happy, healthy, and stress-free, we need volunteers to come walk dogs! We have acres of beautiful farmland and rolling hills to walk with our awesome dogs! You will have the opportunity be an active participant in the Open Paw program, which is an enrichment and training program geared toward improving the animals' quality of life and their adoptability.
Please fill out a volunteer application (bottom of the page) at www.bmorehumane.org/volunteers

About Baltimore Humane Society
Location:
1601 NICODEMUS RD, REISTERSTOWN, MD 21136, US
Mission Statement
Provide a temporary home, a safe refuge, and care for homeless animals. Work aggressively to place each animal that comes to our shelter in a loving, permanent home. Strive to end the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals by promoting and offering affordable spaying and neutering to control the population of unwanted animals in our area and addressing the issues that cause people to give up animals. Advance the cause of the humane treatment of animals and increase awareness of animal issues through public education. Ensure a peaceful final resting place for beloved companion animals through the operation of a beautiful and well-maintained cemetery for companion animals.
