ORGANIZATION: The Buddy Program

  • 14 people are interested

Big Buddies are adults from the community who volunteer their time and develop a healthy relationship with a local child. Big Buddies make a 1-year commitment to spend time (2-3 times/month) with their Little Buddy, providing them with the trust and support they need to succeed in life. The relationship between a Big Buddy and Little Buddy helps the child grow mentally, emotionally and academically, ultimately helping them succeed in life by reaching their full potential.

Buddy Pairs can attend a Buddy Program activity (ski day, cooking class, bowling party, etc.), or simply hang out together in the community.

Big Buddies are needed in Aspen, Basalt and Carbondale!
