Children First of the Rockies (CFOR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency located in Boulder County since 1999. Our mission is to keep families connected through affordable supervised parenting time and exchanges. The need for our services typically stems from domestic violence, substance abuse, severe mental illness and/or prolonged absence from a child’s life. We are the only non-profit agency in Boulder County offering these services to families in conflict or crisis.
Currently CFOR is seeking local individuals to join our Board of Directors, which has overall responsibility for the organization's governance and oversight. We are a very active and engaged Board, committed to the stewardship and long-term success of CFOR and its mission. Current critical needs for Board skills include financial expertise, capital campaigns/fundraising, and community connections.
