The Effingham Meals on Wheels of C.E.F.S. program is in need of volunteer drivers wo are willing to deliver meals to our homebound clients. Seven routes are available and each route takes approximately one hour to deliver. Most routes are in the city limits of Effingham. Meals on Wheels will work with the volunteers' schedules in regards to how often they would like to deliver meals. Volunteers may deliver once a week, once a month, or as often as they wish. We are very appreciative of their support.

Meals on Wheels of C.E.F.S. provides meals in a group setting and to homebound individuals 60 years of age or older. Participants pay what they can afford. Funds to operate the program come from the Area Agencies on Aging and participant contributions. The program is sponsored by C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation.
