The Envision Golf Clinic is for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
This summer clinic enables youth and adults to learn basic skills of golf, increase self-confidence, build friendships and enjoy the benefits of physical activity.
Instruction will be led by local golf pro Len Hudson. Each student will be paired with a volunteer golf mentor for the clinic.
The mentor acts as a guide and is the player's eyes. As a mentor, you will describe how the ball lies on the ground, what the yardage is and the layout of the green and most importantly, help to set your player up so that he/she can hit the ball correctly.
Volunteer must be able to commit to every Monday evening in June plus a training session on May 14th.
Evening play on Monday's will be for approximately 1-2 hours.
