I'm so sweet! Come see for yourself!

Do you love cats?! Perfect! We have some of THE BEST cats! We are looking for volunteers to help care for our cats. You will get to give our amazing cats personal attention and love. In return our fantastic cats will shower you with unconditional love, head butts, purring and adorable antics!

The shifts are about 2 hours long and consist of feeding our precious cats, scooping their litterboxes and then spending some one on one time with each kitty - brushing them, playing with them or just snuggling with our furry friends for a bit!

Shifts are available every day.

Shifts can start as early as 6am but no later than 9am for the morning shift. The afternoon shift can start as early as 4pm but no later than 7pm.

Ideally we would like you to volunteer once or twice a month, but if you can only volulnteer once a month, we are happy to have you.

You MUST be at least 21 to volunteer. If under 21 you must be accompanied by your parent at all times.

Mission Statement

Our vision is to elevate the status of animals in society through facilitating a culture change in how people acquire animals and how they commit to those animals they choose to make a part of their family.

RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is euthanasia list rescue from our county shelters. We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 11,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. Maricopa County has one of the highest euthanasia rates per capital in the country, so we have much work to do on behalf of these animals. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end euthanasia. For example, you can become volunteer, adopt or donate.
