The Ronald McDonald House of Fort Lauderdale is looking for volunteers to help in our office. We need someone who is outgoing, reliable, and organized. Must be proficient with the use of a computer.
Our volunteer shifts are:
Morning 9am-1pm Monday-Friday
Afternoon 1pm-5pm Monday-Friday
Evening 5pm-9pm Monday-Friday
Your duties will include answering phones, checking families in/out of the House, soliciting for fundraisers, letter/memo writing, internet research, and other clerical tasks. We are flexible and will work with your schedule.
This is a great learning experience if you are interested in event planning, fund-raising, and the non-profit sector.

Mission Statement
The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) is a temporary "home-away-from-home" for families to find rest, support, and time away from realities of the hospital procedures and routines in any Miami-Dade and Broward County pediatric medical facility.
Description
Your generous contribution will help to continue to provide a place to stay for the families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at Chris Evert Children's Hospital located on the grounds of Broward General Medical Center in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and other pediatric medical facilities. With your help and the help of the entire Broward Community, we will continue to provide services to 20 families at the same time and enable them to enjoy common areas such as: kitchen, dining room, play and TV room, family room, library with computers, laundry room.
