Special Olympics San Diego County is looking for Coaches for the Spring 2013 sports season.
Come and help make a difference in the lives of athletes with intellectual disabilities through sports training and competition.
Help Coach:
- Swimming
- Track and Field
- Basketball
- Bocce
- Gymnastics
- Golf
From February to June, experience for yourself the chance to guide the passion of this athletic community.
Duties include assisting with attendance/rosters, supervising athletes during practice, helping head coach with activities at practice, etc.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
Description
Special Olympics San Diego County is the local Special Olympics chapter for San Diego County residents. We are a sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. All of our programs are free to our participants.
