We are seeking licensed massage therapists who would like to volunteer their time to help home-bound hospice patients and their families.
Volunteers must complete a training, background check, and a TB screen- paid for by Grace Hospice.

Description
Hospice Volunteers provide companionship to our patients and their families. They may visit with patients, read, sing or watch movies with patients. Hospice volunteers find it personally gratifying, intellectually stimulating, and emotionally meaningful to assist those in need at a critical point in their lives. Many of our volunteers are introduced to hospice thorough the death of a family member and understand firsthand the value of hospice care, but nearly 20% of volunteers are new to hospice. Volunteers consistently report that helping the terminally ill through hospice is not about dying but about living.
