Junior Achievement is looking for volunteers to lead programs in Copley elementary schools. Programs consist of lessons about business, citizenship, and work roles.
Opportunities are available in the following schools:
- Ft. Island Primary - 4th Grade JA Our Region Program
- Copley Middle School- 6th grade JA Global Marketplace Program
Each program consists of five or six 30-45 -minute activity-based sessions. JA will provide 1 hour training and all materials necessary to complete the program. You can coordinate your visits to the classroom directly with the classroom teacher.

Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio is educating students throughout Ashland, Carroll, Coshocton, Crawford, Knox, Marion, Medina, Morrow, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, Richland, Wayne and Wyandot counties.Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides programs for students in grades K-12 educating them about:
Entrepreneurship Workforce Readiness Financial Literacy
JA programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action, and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
