The Agape Cafe is looking for someone to help us set up the dining room and chop potatoes on Tuesdays from approximately 3:30-4:30 PM. We serve breakfast when school is in session (so we are closed one month for winter break, over spring break and the summer). Help prepare the best free breakfast in town!

The Agape Cafe is committed to serving our homeless and in-need neighbors breakfast with dignity and respect. Our primary goals are to enhance self-esteem and promote wellness among our guests, our volunteers and ourselves.
Description
The Agape cafe serves breakfast to approximately 65 guests each Wednesday morning between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM and is open from 6AM to 9AM. Our guests select their meal from a menu that changes weekly but always includes eggs any style, bacon or sausage, homefries, toast, oatmeal or grits, juice and milk, coffee, pancakes or french toast, plus other specials like biscuits and gravy. Volunteer servers will wait on guests and then have a chance to sit and visit with them. We serve up a hearty dose of good food in an environment that encourages interaction between the volunteer staff and the guests.
