Kindred Hospice - Our Care Matters

Volunteering with Kindred Hospice patients and their families may be one of the most fulfilling things you ever do!

Give family caregivers a break to take a couple hours for themselves, listen to life stories from our patients, celebrate and honor our Veterans on service, run errands, grocery shop or just be a friend to someone who has no local family. We train you in 3 afternoon sessions, or some of the training can be done from home. Volunteers are treasured members of the hospice team and make a huge difference to the lives of our patients and their families! Many of our volunteers say they receive more from the experience than they give - it's life changing and inspiring to support someone at end-of-life.

We are also looking for volunteers with military service background - many of our patients are Veterans and enjoy the chance to talk with and share life stories with fellow Veterans. We also have a "We Honor Veterans" program specifically geared to celebrate our Veterans on hospice and honor them for their service to country.

Please contact Tracy Hunt at 928-445-2522 and learn how you can join our amazing volunteer team!
