Transformational Center (TC) Front Desk Volunteer Receptionist will focus on providing information to individuals who call and/or walk-in needing access to services available within the TC Building.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments.
* Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
* Transmit information or documents to members/ Haven staff, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
* Provide information about establishment such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
* Maintain and keep reception, workstation and lobby area neat and orderly.
* Ensure that all members/ visitors are following the guidelines of the T.C. building.
* Hear and resolve complaints from members and public.
* Log members’ names into visitors log and check badges
