Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.
No, not responsible as ... you are in trouble, but are you accountable for your words and actions, are you reliable and ready to serve others? If you are, BESB wants you and others like you to help with your legally blind neighbors. It’s pretty easy, shopping with them or for them when you get your own shopping done, reading books, mail and periodicals. Calling when the weather is bad and asking if they are ok. Being a good friend and neighbor can’t get any easier. Call today!
