At PALS, we are helping people and the pets they love.

Do you love dogs and cats? We are looking for animal lovers to be on the board of directors for our non-profit. The ideal candidate would have time to attend monthly board meetings, sit on a committee, volunteer several hours per month working on committee or fundraising projects, and be responsible for helping provide responsible oversight for the benefit of our organization.

The mission of Pet Prevent a Litter (PALS) of Central Texas, a non-profit organization, is to help end pet overpopulation and pet homelessness through community education and spay/neuter programs for those in need. Our primary service area is Hays County, and we help pets in Guadalupe County, northern Comal, and Travis County as funds allow.

PALS has four primary programs:
5CF Vouchers and a clinic for free and low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations
5CF Community Cats TNRM (Trap-Neuter-Return-Maintain)
5CF Pet Pantry to help people keep and feed their animals
5CF Humane education -- teaching responsible pet ownership

Thank you for your interest in serving. Please contact Kate Shaw, Board President for more information or to request an application.
Act soon! Our selection committee is considering our board roster for 2013-2014.
