The K-9 Team is always looking for new members and volunteers. Working a dog is not required to be a K-9 Team member. Subjects to hide from the dogs, base camp operators and field navigators are always needed.

Mission Statement
The Team endeavors to provide professional dogs, handlers and support personnel to assist in the location and rescue of persons unable to help themselves in wilderness, water, and snow or disaster situations.
Description
The K-9 SAR Team is a volunteer search and rescue organization specializing in highly trained dogs that are currently trained to the highest available standards. Many members are trained to Colorado Emergency Medical Technician or American Red Cross Emergency Response requirements. Cadets between the ages of 16-18 years are encouraged to become involved with emergency services.
