Are you looking to use your experience in social media to help a local non-profit? Everyone’s Harvest is looking for a volunteer experienced in social media to run our social media outlets including Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as others. Everyone’s Harvest is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing fresh fruits and vegetables to the community while supporting the local, small-scale farmers that produce them. We run many community food programs that are essential to our organization and strengthening the community, and we are looking to expand our reach through social media. Ideally we are looking for someone with:
- at least 1 year of experience in a social media position. Although we absolutely appreciate the experience that using personal social media accounts provides, we are looking for someone who has some professional knowledge of it.
- a flexible schedule that allows availability during Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-5 and Mondays and Fridays from 9-12. Times and days can be adjusted depending on volunteer and staff availability.
- the ability to quickly meet deadlines
- a willingness to work closely with and meet the needs of various staff members

Mission Statement
The mission of Everyone’s Harvest is to create vibrant healthy communities and equitable food webs. We believe everyone deserves the right to access locally grown organic produce and free public events are necessary to strengthen a community.
Description
Everyone’s Harvest is a non-profit that brings people and healthy food together. We run the Marina, Pacific Grove, and Alisal Certified Farmers’ Markets for the benefit of farmers and consumers alike. Everyone’s Harvest strongly believes everyone deserves the right to fresh, healthy, organic produce supplied by our local region and that free public events are necessary to strengthen a community. In 2002, Everyone’s Harvest started when five women noticed the lack of local, fresh, organic produce in Marina. Together, they decided to start the Marina Certified Farmers’ Market.
Volunteer with Everyone's Harvest
Everyone’s Harvest is always looking for nice, reliable, motivated and enthusiastic volunteers. We sincerely thank our volunteers for all of their hard work--without their efforts and commitment, many Market events and activities would not be possible!
Becoming a volunteer with Everyone’s Harvest will give you an opportunity to meet small-scale family farmers and local vendors, learn what it takes to put on a Certified Farmers’ Market and connect with your local community.
