It’s time for the Salvation Army’s 2017 Red Kettle Campaign for Northern Montgomery County. Bell Ringers are needed for the fundraiser, which kicks off on Black Friday. The campaign’s purpose is to help needy families, and we are asking you to join in the tradition. Volunteers are needed to ring bells at various locations to encourage donations. As a bell ringer, you are a very important seasonal fundraiser for the Salvation Army. Individuals, churches, schools, businesses, or civic groups can sign up to ring for a single shift, whole days or the entire season. This can be a really fun and meaningful project for you and your friends to do together. Shifts are typically 2 - 4 hours. To sign up to be a Red Kettle Bell Ringer contact the Community Access Center at 620-331-5115. The 2017 campaign will soon be well under way, so get your group together and let’s make some noise with those bells to raise funds for those in need.
