Speakers Guild Member
Great opportunity to speak in front of business groups, and help raise money for important non-profit programs;
People skills and public speaking experience required;
On-call volunteer to make scheduled fundraising presentations in Monroe County workplaces (primarily but not limited to weekday mornings);
Speakers are required to go through brief training on the United Way of the Florida Keys, and assist with a presentation given by our president;
This is a tremendous opportunity to make contacts in the Florida Keys, and help build your resume for sales, marketing, fundraising or other business development positions -- helping tell the story of the recent work of the United Way to current and potential donors.

Description
United Way of Collier and the Keys (UWCK) is committed to improving lives and strengthening our community so all individuals and families have an opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential. As a local volunteer-driven organization, UWCK advocates for Asset Limited Income Constrained and Employed (ALICE) residents in our communities looking for a hand-up by providing them information and referral and supportive tools and resources. We accomplish this through improving education, economic stability and health, as well as providing access to food and critical safety net services for all Collier and Monroe County residents.
