ENRICH YOUR LIFE BY ENRICHING THE LIVES OF OTHERS
Making a choice to join our Volunteer Team at Compassionate Care Hospice can enrich your life and the lives of others. Our Hospice Volunteers come from every walk of life and play a crucial role within our team, providing compassionate care by assisting our patients and their family members with the many challenges of a terminal illness. Patient care volunteers provide companionship, emotional/spiritual support, respite for primary care givers, bereavement support, and fulfill other tasks as needed for our patients and their families. Some of our volunteers lend their talents in music, painting, scrapbooking, drawing, crocheting/knitting, storytelling, writing, cosmotology, reiki, massage, home and landscape maintenance, and many other areas that enhance our patient's lives, promote wholeness, and reduce suffering.
If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, to give back to your community, and find a deepened appreciation of the gift of life, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator through the link provided or by calling 912/691-5755.
