Variety of Georgia to partner with the Atlanta Marathon and We need YOU!

Variety of Georgia has been selected to a join the Atlanta Track Club's Adopt a Marathon Mile program. Adopt a Marathon Mile is the Atlanta Track Club’s (ATC) neighborhood and nonprofit program at the Atlanta Marathon and Marathon Relay. The mission of the program is to generate course support for the event, while giving back to Atlanta’s nonprofit organizations. It’s a celebration of community, a support system for the runners and a fundraising platform for Atlanta’s nonprofits.

Variety of Georgia will need a Cheer Zone at Mile 22-23 and we need at least 30 volunteers to cheer, motivate, and inspire the runners. You may dress up in a Halloween costume or please wear black pants and a long sleeve shirt that you can add a red Variety t-shirt over. I will have t-shirts, black top hats, and the Variety Mascot, "Hearty" will be there as well.
