Volunteers building an animal habitat
Volunteers helping to build the first habitat for rescued wild animals at the new location in the Ocala National Forest

Forest Animal Rescue (formerly known as Peace River Refuge & Ranch) has been rescuing abused, neglected, confiscated or abandoned wild animals since 1998. Due to increasing development near our old location, we have moved our entire sanctuary to the Ocala National Forest.

We have 80 acres of land in the Ocala National Forest and are in need of volunteers to help with construction.

Will you come help us build a home for a rescued tiger (or bear, or monkey....)?
