Arts and Entrepreneurship Program Volunteer

The person in this position works with our ArtWorks for You entrepreneurship program, where a group of high school students are building their own creative business. The high school interns create their own line of products, build their brand, develop both online and brick-and-mortar stores, and sell their products directly to the public at community events. Your role would be to work directly with the small group of students and the professional lead artist in supporting this initiative.

Visual arts experience is required.

The program volunteer plays an important role in ArtWorks' programming by supporting ArtWorks' staff and Lead Artist with organizational tasks while also interacting and serving as a role model for youth interns. The program volunteer?s involvement spans the preparation, execution and evaluation of the art program. Both formal and on-the-job trainings are offered to the program volunteer.
