Classroom Aides and Tutors Needed for ESL Classes

ORGANIZATION: CSIU

Become a Classroom Aide in one of our ESL classes and work one on one with adult students studying to improve their English language skills.
Volunteers will focus on developing students' English reading, writing, and speaking skills and will help them study for the citizenship test when needed.
Lessons, materials, & guidance provided by the Instructor.
In-person and/or Zoom classes may be available depending on need, as well as various days & times.

Requirements include:
A high school diploma/GED
Current clearances
Periodic training
Orientation/intake
Patience and enthusiasm for teaching others

The CSIU provides free ESL classes because of the devoted volunteers that assist people in achieving their goals. Classroom Aides find this a rewarding and enjoyable volunteer opportunity!
