Description

At Volunteers of America, we are more than a nonprofit organization. We
are a ministry of service throughout the United States that includes nearly 16,000 employees and
65,000 volunteers with a shared vision of a world where all people live
in safety with social, emotional and physical well-being, spiritual
fulfillment, justice and hope.

For more than 116 years, Volunteers of America has responded to the
nation's healthcare needs. Today, we are a major provider of
professional long-term nursing care for seniors and others coping with
illness or injury. We offer a continuum of services that extends to the
elderly andto disabled people requiring long-term health support,
including nursing care, assisted living, memory care, home health care,
rehabilitation and much more.

Valley Manor Care Center is located in the beautiful area of Montrose,
CO. You can view the colorful Rocky Mountains from almost every window
in our center. We are a 107-bed skilled nursing facility. We offer
long-term living facilities for those who are no longer able to reside
in their own home. We assist to keep one's independence as long as they
are physically able. We also offer secured Alzheimer's living quarters
for loved ones who are needing those specialized services. Our
short-term rehabilitation stay unit offers the best of therapy services
to maximize one's Medicare benefits to ensure they are back on their feet
as soon as they can.
