Park Patrol volunteers serve as ambassadors for Columbia's parks and trails. Volunteers patrol Columbia's trails and parks, looking for suspicious activity to report to the Columbia Police Department or maintenance issues to share with Columbia Parks & Recreation. Volunteers also work with our Park Ranger to assist with special events or at high-use times in our parks.

Volunteers attend a one-hour training session and are issued a badge and a t-shirt or vest to identify them as Park Patrollers.
