We are looking for motivated and committed individuals to join our volunteer-driven Practice Development Team. Practice Development manager is responsible for following functions

  • PD COMPETENCY MANAGER

    Function:

    Competency Building, Proposal Development & Future co-project manager for client engagement

    Job Description:

    Responsibilities:

    1) Lead projects/project team and report to Practice Lead

    2) Mentor and coach new or less experienced volunteers

    3) In collaboration with BD and PMO teams, actively involve in Need Assessment Workshops, and conduct or support initial client assessment process

    4) Help develop and review proposals for client projects

    5) As a subject matter expert, review reports for client projects and advise project team areas of improvements

    6) Potential candidate to join client project team

    Qualifications & Requirements :

    • Prior team specific function experience
    • MBA with 3 to 5 years of prior professional experience
    • Strong project management skills. (Candidates with PMP will be preferred.)
    • A background in management consulting and/or non-profit management is strongly preferred.
    • Ideal candidates should have experience in finance/ strategic planning/ marketing /human resources.
    • Strong skills in Research, Communication, Writing, and Presentation
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate with professionals at all levels
    • Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and/or area of expertise
    • Ability to develop and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives
    • Advanced level of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Positive attitude and commitment to projects
    • Be flexible, open, and a good team player

    Commitment Required :

    • Must be willing to commit 1+ year
    • Meetings : 2 in person and 2 conference calls
    • Time : Minimum 5 hours [ excluding meeting time ]
