Catholic Charities is in great need of friendly volunteers to help staff our reception desk.
The people that visit or call our office deserve a welcoming, warm reception. This opportunity involves greeting our clients, answering the phone and directing callers to the appropriate staff person, completing light data entry work and supporting staff, as needed. *Spanish speaking preferred*
Volunteers are needed for morning and afternoon shifts (8:30am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 4:00pm) two to four days a week. Choose as few or as many shifts as you like. We love and appreciate each and every one of our volunteers and welcome you becoming a part of our team.

Description
Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte provides services encompassing assistance to individuals and families experiencing a need for:
- Foster care, adoption and pregnancy services
- Individual, marriage and family counseling
- Distribution of donated services to the needy
- Food Pantry
- Acute emergency services
- Enrichment services
- Burial Support
Catholic Charities (CCDOC) Refugee Resettlement program is an affiliate of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), one of the national voluntary agencies participating in the federal government's refugee resettlement program. For the past 30 years, the CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program has embraced the mission of providing quality services and a caring support system that will empower our refugee clients to become self-sufficient, self-reliant, and productive members of society. On average, CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program resettles and supports between 350 and 400 refugees per year. All of our services are non-sectarian and do not promote any religious belief or affiliation.
