Giving Back Coordinator

As our foundation continues to grow, we recognize the need for more support. Our Back-to-School and Holiday Drive campaigns are key components of our foundation and a coordinator is needed.

The goal of these campaigns is to reach thousands of families in need during the most crucial times of the year. Many of those served by these campaigns live in shelters and have limited means and opportunity of securing the necessary items. These campaigns are donation drives which provide necessities for these individuals.

Primary responsibilities include:
Order and deliver campaign literature Order campaign fliers/posters, mail fliers to businesses and foundation supporters and deliver campaign collection boxes to drop-off locations.

Increase the number of drop-off locations Add at least five additional drop-off locations by contacting businesses and sharing information about the campaigns and request their participation.

Upon confirming their participation, forward a template letter that provides additional information about the purpose and blueprint for the campaigns.

Set up existing drop-off locations Contact all participating businesses three weeks in advance of the campaign launch and notify of the campaign dates for accepting donations. Coordinate dates to deliver campaign collection boxes, flyers and posters. Schedule dates for and pick up the donated items.

Coordinate donation distribution Assist with setting up and distributing donated items to partnering area organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Club.


This is a great opportunity for on-the-job experience with a local non-profit in addition to enhancing your resume. Individuals must have excellent interpersonal skills, have reliable transportation and a dedicated work ethic.
