Help seniors dine with friends- Become a Lunch Host

The Twin Pines Senior & Community Center has a Federally-funded Lunch Program that provides nutritious and delicious meals to seniors who sometimes don't have the ability or the desire to cook for themselves, or simply want to get out of the house and meet people.

Lunch Hosts help carry out this mission once a week just by plating and serving the food and beverages (it's a fixed menu, so there's no need to take food orders!), and ensuring everybody gets an equal and fair opportunity to partake in the Lunch Program.

We are currently in need of 1 volunteer for Wednesdays, from 11am - 1pm! Working with a team of four other awesome volunteers, this person would help serve the meals, as well as clean up and takedown for the end of the day.

We're located inside Twin Pines Park, surrounded by plenty of beautiful trees and walkways. This is an active and inclusive community, and most of our programs would not exist without our wonderful group of volunteers!
