Have you ever seen a stray cat and wondered what to do? You are not alone! We are looking for volunteers that would be willing to learn the "how-to" of stray cat rescue in order to assist and mentor people that find or who are feeding/caring for stray cats and adopting them into new homes.
In order to prevent cat colonies (or "clowders") we urge people to act immediately when they see a stray cat. This position would involve responding to questions about stray cats and providing instructions to people about how to handle the situation. The instructions will include how to find the owner of the cat, or mentoring on trapping and holding a cat for the purpose of having it spayed or neutered and fostered and adopted into a home.

Description
The Minnesota Spay/Neuter Project is non-profit organization organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. More specifically, we educate the general public about the benefits of spaying and neutering companion animals and in an effort to end pet overpopulation and suffering, we provide to qualifying households free sterilization, microchip, and vaccinations against distemper and rabies.
