Greet the families when they return from their day’s activities. Interact with the kids and spend time playing games, reading, and other activities that promote a "normal" environment. When you volunteer in the afternoon, you give the kids things to do which allows parents time to do household tasks. The families can stay at the Day House until time to go to the overnight hosting church.
