Open the Day House and greet the day. When you volunteer for the morning shift, greet the families, and help them start the day on a positive note. Your presence allows the families to utilize the facilities in the Day House to complete morning tasks such as breakfast, showering, fixing lunches and getting kids off to school. Parents can do some laundry and/or use the computer to look for work. Without you, the Day House might be closed in the morning.
Early birds, you bless and get blessed as well for these simple acts of kindness....
