Unlocking Futures is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization committed to transforming the chaotic lives of young people through persistent and compassionate mentoring. Our mission is to decrease the at-risk behavior of youth and to enhance the effectiveness of the people who live and work with them.
Job Summary
Responsible for marketing intern. Creates and delivers emails, direct mail, brochures, newsletters, and other publications.
Primary responsibilities
* Create company literature and other forms of communication.
* Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.
* Copy, proofread, and revise communications.
* Work with manager to plan summer events.
* Promote services through public relations initiatives.
* Develop marketing communications campaigns.
* Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, newsletter and social media content.
* Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
* Manage office information.

Unlocking Futures, formally known as Youth at Risk is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization committed to transforming the chaotic lives of young people through persistent and compassionate mentoring. Since 1985, Unlocking futures has helped HS students make college an option: we take them from failing grades to passing grades; and/or passing grades to top grades. We give them tools to win in life such as a Goal-directed focus and Shift at-risk behaviors to responsible behaviors
